IB Spanish B SL
IB Spanish B SL is a language acquisition course for students who already have some experience learning Spanish. It helps students develop strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while exploring language through real-world themes like identity, experience, human ingenuity, society, and sharing the planet. Students learn to communicate confidently in a variety of contexts and deepen their cultural understanding of Spanish-speaking communities.
IB Spanish B HL
IB Spanish B HL has everything in SL plus extra depth and complexity. Students spend more time developing advanced language skills and cultural understanding, and they are expected to use a wider range of vocabulary and structures. HL also includes the study of two literary works originally written in Spanish, which brings a richer analytical dimension to the course.
