Need help with Biology? Get ready for the IB exams with us! Groups max. 7 people. 100% online lessons. This course will cover the following topics: July, Monday 25th: 9:00am-11:00am: Cell and Molecular biology, we will study organelles, membrane structure and transport, the origin of cells and cell division, molecules for metabolism (water, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, enzymes, DNA, RNA).(SL-HL) 11:30am-12:30pm: Nucleic acids, we will study DNA structure, replication, transcription, gene expression and translation. (HL) July, Tuesday 26th 9:00am-11:00pm: Genetics, we will study genes, chromosomes, meiosis, inheritance and genetic modification.(SL-HL) 11:30am-12:30pm: Metabolism, cell respiration and photosynthesis.(HL) July, Wednesday 27th: 9:00am-11:00am: Ecology and evolution, we will study evidence for evolution, natural selection, classification and cladistics.(SL-HL) 11:30am-12:30pm: Plant biology, we will study transport in the xylem and phloem, growth and reproduction.(HL) July, Thursday 28th: 9:00am-11:00am: Human physiology, we will study digestion, the blood system, immune system, gas exchange, neurons, hormones and reproduction. 11:30am-12:30pm: Genetics and evolution, we will study meiosis, inheritance, gene pools and speciation. July, Friday 29th: 9:00am-11:00am: Student questions, time set aside for each student to ask their own questions on topics previously studied during the week.(SL-HL) 11:30am-12:30pm: Animal physiology, we will study antibodies, movement, kidney and sexual reproduction. Cancellation Policy
In case you need to cancel an already purchased class: A/ we refund 80% of the paid price if the class is cancelled 30 days in advance the first day of the scheduled class. B/ if the cancellation occurs 29 or less days before the booked classes starts, we offer in return rescheduling the class in the future when the class is available in our calendar (private) or giving credits to be used in future group classes.
